How to Apply

The Application Process:

St. Thomas More Academy offers Pre-K3, Pre-K4 and Kindergarten through 8th grade. 

Requirements: A student entering Pre-K3 must be three years old on or before September 1st and fully potty trained. A student entering Pre-K4 must be four years old on or before September 1st and to enter Kindergarten, a student must be five years old on or before September 1st.

The following must be submitted for each student applying to the Academy:

In addition, a parent interview is required for all candidates. Student interviews are required at the request of the Academy and for all students applying to grades 6-8.

Placement for new students is offered to those who have:

• provided a complete Application for Admission (as outlined above)

• successfully completed the previous year’s schooling (if applying to grades 1-8) 

• successfully completed the Academy’s placement exam (for those applying to grades K-8)


Upon acceptance to the Academy, an enrollment contract is due within 10 days of receipt to guarantee placement for the student(s). The enrollment contract package must include:


 A $450 non-refundable book and resource fee, per child, for those entering grades K – 8. This is due in full by June 1.

  A $300 non-refundable program fee, per child, for those entering PreK, due in full by June 1.


Once the enrollment contract is signed and the fees paid, the student is officially enrolled. No portion of fees is refundable. The obligation to pay tuition and fees for the full academic school year is unconditional, and no portion of tuition or fees, paid or outstanding will be refunded or canceled. Enrollment is ongoing until all classes are full and is not limited to those of the Catholic faith.

It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color and national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies and athletic or other school administered programs.

However, St. Thomas More Academy does not have the personnel or the facilities to address the needs of children with emotional or behavioral problems or learning disabilities that require special programs or services.
