As we endeavor to sure the financial viability of our academy and grow the enrollment we do so with a constant eye on our mission and vison rooted in the Catholic faith and offering a classical liberal arts education striving for excellence grounded in faith. Our Bsiness plan and all activities are to be conducted with the intention to foster and promote our mission and vision.

Mission

St. Thomas More Academy is an independent school rooted in the Catholic faith that provides a classical liberal arts curriculum, which inspires the hearts, educates the minds and natures the soul of our students.

Vision

In five years, St. Thomas More Academy is a thriving independent Catholic school recognized and respected by the community for its academic excellence, exceptional faculty and administration, and strong curricular programs, producing successful students well formed in their faith.

As we grow and achieve excellence we are ever mindful of the values that make St. Thomas More Academy and remain conscious of what our constituency has defind as most important. We will conduct our activities so as to demonstrate, support and promote our values.

As St. Thomas More Academy (STMA) strives to realize its vision and achieve its mission, our collective actions are characterized by:

Christ-Centeredness – Rooted in our rich Catholic Tradition, STMA religious education extends beyond the classroom to permeate all aspects of our shared experience as a school community.

Caring Teachers – The heart of STMA is our faculty who joyfully extends themselves to ensure that each student develops a firm foundation on which a lifelong commitment to, and love of, learning can mature.

Individualized Instruction – Our commitment to an exceptional teacher-student ratio and small class sizes ensures that each student receives the personal attention they require to accelerate and optimize their learning.

Development of the Whole Child – Established with a firm commitment to a Classical Liberal Arts education, STMA's curriculum stresses religion, critical thinking, logic and rhetoric, foreign language, and music and art as essential to a core of instruction, which includes a comprehensive reading program, grammar, writing, math and physical education, all immersed in a spiritual, loving environment.

Community – STMA prides itself on the partnership we establish between our students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the community. These relationships focused on the person of Christ, and promote a nurturing environment that is evident is all of our encounters.
